This role and all of our roles outside of Ireland include a full travel package covering flights, accommodation, travel and a daily living allowance reflective of the country you will be based in.
My Client is a premier Data Centre Construction company headquartered in Dublin, renowned for delivering comprehensive turnkey solutions across Europe. As an engineering-focused organization, their deep expertise and commitment to excellence have positioned them as a leading and highly trusted entity within the data centre sector. Currently, they are managing multiple turnkey data centre projects across several European countries and are keen to add a Quantity Surveyor to their team on a Data Centre in The Netherlands.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the procurement process, ensuring meticulous technical scrutiny and completeness of all packages acquired.
- Monitor and administer payments to sub-contractors and suppliers, meticulously tracking variations and ensuring accurate financial management.
- Take charge of project budget oversight under the guidance of the Project Director, ensuring adherence to financial parameters and providing timely updates.
- Maintain proactive and transparent communication with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations managed effectively throughout the project lifecycle.
- Document and meticulously track cost changes within work scopes, preparing comprehensive monthly valuations and final accounts to ensure clarity and accuracy.
Requirements:
- Essential: Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role, with a strong preference for candidates experienced in the mechanical and electrical contracting sector.
- Highly advantageous: Previous experience specifically within Data Centre projects, demonstrating familiarity with industry-specific challenges and requirements.
- A relevant degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field, providing a solid foundation for understanding project complexities.
Exceptional organisational skills and a proven ability to manage time effectively, ensuring deadlines are met and priorities are balanced
