Role Scope:
As Operations Manager, you will oversee plant replacement and retrofit projects on data centres across Europe, including CSA and M&E works. This multi-site role involves managing diverse projects at varying scales and stages.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and maintain strong client relationships.
Oversee tender processes and pipeline strategies for future projects.
Foster collaboration between head office and sites for continuous improvement.
Identify skill gaps and lead recruitment and training initiatives.
Motivate and support teams to achieve goals.
Manage budgets, costs, and a team of project managers across multiple sites.
Ensure adherence to contracts, policies, and industry regulations.
Monitor project progress, manage risks, and report to senior management.
Drive safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Handle disputes, change management, and innovative solutions.

Essential Criteria:

Proven background in managing construction projects and teams with a deep understanding of the construction process from start to finish.

Willingness to be actively involved on-site, demonstrating leadership and technical expertise while not hesitating to get hands-on when needed.

Strong focus on ensuring safety standards are consistently met across all projects, with in-depth knowledge of industry health and safety regulations.

Comprehensive understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, essential for overseeing related works on-site and ensuring compliance with project requirements.

Demonstrated ability to foster a collaborative and efficient team environment, with excellent communication skills to liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Strong analytical skills, able to think critically and resolve issues swiftly to maintain project timelines and quality standards.

Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality, with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes and improving overall efficiency.

Lead multi-site construction projects with hands-on expertise, strong health & safety focus, and mechanical/electrical knowledge, driving results through team-building and communication.
